The Norwegian Agency for Public Management and eGovernment (DIFI) (under the former name eProcurement Secretariat) is in several studies, recognized as a leader in European public eProcurement and was a finalist and runner up for the European eAwards on eGovernment in 2005. Through the eight years of existence, it has taken active and continuous participation in coordinated EU-efforts and is presently an active player in standardization activities through NESUBL and CEN/ISSS Workshop BII. DIFI has buildt up high competence in all aspects of public procurement and through the six years of live operation, it has gained particular experience and knowledge on eTendering, eCatalogues and eOrdering. Together with solid and well reputable partners and subcontractors, the DIFI sees advantages of cross border cooperation and are once again willing to contribute in enabling EU-wide public eprocurement.
