The specific e-government transformation competency of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance combined with the e-procurement competency and services of the Federal Procurement Agency of Austria and with the outstanding implementation capacity of Austria's Federal Computing Center are the underlying success factors for key e-government applications in Austria and result in Austria's leading e-government position in Europe. These national competences are concentrated in the Austrian entity PEPPOL.AT and provided for the PEPPOL-consortium.
